Wood Window Shutters can make some of the most interesting and useful day to day items for around the house.
These two projects take hardly any time to make and last a lifetime!
Window shutters are relatively easy to come across - maybe even in your garage or stored away in a nook. Thrift Stores, Yard Sales, Flea Markets are but a few places to find any kind of wood shutters.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: Wood Glue, Sanding Paper, 2" wood screws, drill, sander, measuring tape, black marker, "L" shaped brackets *you'll need 4 per cross shelf applied so if your unit has 4 shelves, you'll need 16 brackets to accommodate the 4 corners of each shelf. Paint color of choice and a 2" paint brush - *rollers are no good for the bumpy surface of window shutters
